Accountabilty
COVID NOTICE: Due to Wisconsin Act 185 there will be no new state accountability report cards issued during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school year.
Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy is a City of Milwaukee public charter school. The City of Milwaukee’s Charter School Review Committee monitors academic, operational, and financial performance and reports to the Common Council annually. An important feature of the annual report is the CSRC’s scorecard and annual report.
As part of the state’s school accountability system, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issues a report card for every school in the state. The report card is based on several measures and largely on the results of the state’s required assessment. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is updating its school accountability system and issuing a report card for every public school in the state.
The state report cards include some useful information. However, the state report cards are largely based on single required state assessment. Because of changing testing environment at the state level, we have relied on our own internal assessment to consistently track progress and set goals.
We encourage families and the community to review the more comprehensive results of the Milwaukee Charter School Review Committee, to learn more about our school’s progress.
